The 49ers continued to pile on the pressure after the break. Purdy added two more touchdown passes one to Jauan Jennings and another to McCaffrey extending the lead to 41–27 midway through the fourth quarter.

Indianapolis’ struggles were capped by a costly interception from Rivers, which was returned for a touchdown by San Francisco linebacker Dee Winters, marking the 49ers’ sixth and final score of the night.
