In a thrilling encounter at Harare, Pakistan Under 19 secured their first win in the 2026 U19 World Cup by defeating Scotland by six wickets. The victory comes after Pakistan suffered a defeat against England in their tournament opener.
Scotland Sets a Target of 188 Runs
Batting first, Scotland posted a total of 187 runs in 48.1 overs. Captain Thomas Knight top scored with 37 runs, while Finlay Jones contributed 33 and Ollie Jones added 30 runs.
Pakistan fast bowler Ali Raza was the standout performer, claiming four wickets for just 37 runs. Spinner Momin Qamar supported the bowling attack, taking three wickets for 46 runs. Their combined efforts restricted Scotland to a chaseable total.
