Pakistan Secure Second Victory in Group Stage
Pakistan registered their second win in the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup after comfortably defeating Zimbabwe by eight wickets in their third and final group stage match. With this victory, Pakistan officially qualified for the Super Six round of the tournament.
The match was played in Harare, where Pakistan dominated both with the ball and the bat, proving their strength as one of the most balanced sides in the competition.
Zimbabwe Bowled Out for 128 Runs
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to field first a decision that paid off immediately. The Pakistani bowlers delivered a disciplined and aggressive performance, restricting Zimbabwe to just 128 runs in 35.5 overs.
Zimbabwe opener Nathaniel Halabangana was the top scorer with a fighting 59 runs, while Brandon Senzire scored 15 and Shelton Mazivatora added 12. Apart from these contributions, the rest of the batting lineup struggled, with eight Zimbabwean players failing to reach double figures.
Pakistan Bowling Performance
Pakistan bowling unit shared the wickets effectively:
- Ali Raza led the attack with three wickets
- Muhammad Siyam, Abdul Subhan, and Momin Qamar claimed two wickets each
