Cameron Green etched his name into the Indian Premier League record books after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) signed the Australian all rounder for a massive ₹25.20 crore at the IPL 2026 auction held on December 16.

This deal makes Green the most expensive overseas player in IPL history surpassing the previous record of ₹24.75 crore which KKR had paid for Mitchell Starc during the IPL 2024 auction.

Green now becomes the third Australian cricketer to cross the ₹20 crore mark at an IPL auction joining Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins (₹20.5 crore in 2024).
